Full Harvest Moon in Pisces September 13th, 2019 9:33 pm PDT
Sabina Symbol “Pisces 22: A PROPHET BRINGING DOWN THE NEW LAW FROM THE MOUNTAIN…”
Keynote: The need to bring down to the level of everyday existence the realizations made manifest in peak experiences*
Though Earth’s Moon is no star, it reflects the brightest light we can see in the night sky. Its phases are a part of human consciousness, and its movements affect systems on earth and sea. When we align our activities to the Moon’s cycles we find a greater connection to both our bodies and intuitive wisdom. A full Moon brings to fulfillment energies that express themselves through the sign it inhabits during its peak. Remember you can feel this energy up to a full week before and after the event too.
This Lunation, in dreamy, mystical Pisces highlights things that are intuitive and amorphous. Pisces is a water sign of mutable modality (adapting) and its focus is all about a kind of perception very different from its polarity Virgo.
If Virgo is about grounded and discriminatory analysis, Pisces is transcendent vision and spirituality. The Sacred Geometry of the axis of Virgo and Pisces is called the “Vesica Pisces” and is represented by two circles intersecting each other and creating anew. This is a powerful representation of the meeting of “heaven and earth”.
Both Sun, the active conscious self and Moon the instinctive natural self, are connected by a T Square Aspect to Jupiter, the greater Benefic, traditional ruler of Pisces and representative of Faith. They each are also accompanied by Mars in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces. This brings strong and defined energy to the possibility of getting what we want (Sun/Mars) from applying a deeper and perhaps unknown level of knowing (Moon/Neptune) to any situation which may be oppressing or stagnating us- in our relationships, our psyches and overall life.
Remember-things we suppress can grow and then become oppressive. We can utilize the relationships between an expanded way of being/ knowing/ thinking (Jupiter/ Moon/Neptune) and actualizing our direction and personal expression (Sun/Mars) this week.
Let the waters of inspiration flow. Connect with your spiritual side. The Moon is at Apogee, meaning close to Earth now and very bright. Dreams are vivid and your connection to unseen forces can be accessed. This is the PERFECT time for all spiritual or divinatory work.
Have faith in your metamorphosis and the intelligence of the Universe!
The powerful magick at work in this Moon can assist us in creating lasting and sustainable healing and change. Try to connect to your dreams this week to channel the lunations ability to transform aspects of your life and gain guidance.
Here is a suggestion beginning a dream practice from www.keziavida.com
if you’re just starting out your dream practice and want a simple ritual to get it all started, try this:
Find an object, whether a small animal totem, stone, feather, pillow, or anything else that you can easily keep near you while you are sleeping and carries some emotional resonance for you.Greet the object, either out loud or in your mind’s eye, and ask permission for it to aid you in remembering your dream tonight. If this doesn’t feel right for some reason–if the object doesn’t feel up to the task, find something else.Place the object near your bed, ideally somewhere where it can be the last thing you see as you go to sleep and the first thing you see when you wake up. If possible, clear all other items and objects away from your sleeping area.Once you are in bed and ready for sleep, go through all of the reasons you think you aren’t able to remember your dreams, either by writing them down or speaking them out loud. After speaking or writing them, again turn to your object and ask that it release these blocks and make it possible for you to remember your dreams tonight.Upon waking, do not force recall–if all you have is a couple of words, a single image, or even just a feeling, express your gratitude to the object and the spirit of the dreams. Find gratitude even if your mind is blank, for yourself for completing the ritual. Make sure you record all that you remember, without concern for whether you’ve gotten it “right”
May the cauldron of Inspiration be yours!
