Full Moon in Aquarius 8/9/25

Falling in the portal between the solstice and equinox, this Full Moon in cool, impartial Aquarius is set amongst a backdrop of action.
The Sun in Fiery Leo is about personal creative power, but the quality of the Moon in fixed Air is all about objectivity. Ideas come up find form in the collective, and guide us to think of how we can each help to create good for individuals within group structures.
I am reminded of the quote from Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
The Moon’s dispositors Saturn and Uranus, are both involved with an important Kite formation, which galvanizes the passive quality of the Grand Trine with creative sextile patterns and a friction fueled opposition. Mars, newly in Libra is highly active, it opposes Saturn and Neptune, trines Uranus and Pluto, sextiles Mercury ( which will be direct 8/11) all in early degrees of their signs.
The Saturn-Neptune applying conjunction in Aries in July felt strange and amorphus, and the Uranus/Neptune/Pluto minor triangle passive- but perhaps now, with Mars in Libra, there is no doubt that we must act/mediate harmoniously with objective ideals (Moon in Aquarius) in mind.
The Sabian Symbol for this Moon is “A Big Business Man at his Desk”
This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to organize things, run a business, attend to paperwork or generally be very much in charge. A “Big-Businessman” is someone who isn’t afraid to make decisions, take some calculated risks, or be prepared to work often and long for the rewards it brings.
The idea here is to make plans, create strategies and to take action. As Mercury stations direct a couple days later on 8/11 and Venus conjoins Jupiter the following day, the week after the Full Moon is positive for taking the action that comes out of the magic of this weekend.

Release and Reform in the Moon, open to the energy of this dynamic and form plans, find and create networks and put ideas in motion.
