A personal note:
I have been dealing with so much personal change this year my friends, that I have not wanted to write my moon reports, blog, podcast or much else. This sense of chaos/endings seems to also be reflected in the cultural pathos. Of course, I know we are all always #inthistogether but some of us have been especially affected lately!!
Regardless I just wanted to let you know I am still here, even though I am quiet and now doing readings only 3 days a week. You can book with me, and we can discuss the potentials and possibilities of this time, your personal connection to the qualities of it and more if you need some guidance.

We start the month just out of the eclipse gate. Feeling teary, not as hopeful, or just exhausted? Blame it on the Astrology and KNOW you have the ability to flow/move through it.
As the ‘Bers come rolling in, the energy is both terse and tense and expansive and opportune.
Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and then Mercury all align at 13 degrees- an “Arian” degree in all signs and a critical one in the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.
It’s creating/highlighting discomfort and possibly a way in/out of a difficult situation. See how acting now can assist you in moving forward. Communicate sensitively this first half of the month and allow for small victories.
Venus begins the month conjoining fixed star Spica- the brightest point in the constellation of Virgo. This star has long been associated with the great Goddesses and its Heliacal rise observed and revered as a symbol of fertility, luck, and abundance. Look to the divine feminine now to combat the destruction we are facing. She lives as a force of love, inclusion and creativity. All things must change, and through change and the discomfort it often brings, it is possible to bring things into balance.
September 10th Venus moves to Scorpio and opposes Chiron in Taurus. We must confront where we hurt and connect with our bodies to address it. Somatic healing, or even a beautiful lunch with friends helps. This gives us a little preview of her retrograde soon too, (from October 3rd – November 14th), so we have lots of time to dive deep into our internal struggles with creating love, joy, and beauty in our lives. Mercury will move to Libra the same day, moving from critical examination to open and balanced conversations with ourselves and others. Uranus also retrogrades the same day, making it possible to reassess our evolving need for freedom and innovation in life.
New Moon happens September 11th as it’s dispositor or ruler trines Pluto, opposes Neptune and trines Uranus! Whew, it’s the power “throuple” again of the Summer’s “Barbault Basket” These three generational planets are being connected again to the quality of this time.
What are YOU/WE/US visioning. innovating, transforming?? What you dream of can come true. It takes time my friend, but do not give up hope! Write down your wishes, this is powerful magick.
Sept 15th, we have Venus square Pluto. Venus in Scorpio “knows” Pluto so there could be breakthroughs and intense power struggles that potentially result in deep transformation. Where you have Scorpio and Aquarius in your chart will give you clues. Honesty will be rewarded as will big picture compromises. Three days later Mercury opposes Saturn and Chiron retrograde returns to Aries for a final flourish till April 2027.
Have we figured out that fighting is not the way to happiness?
Equinox is the 23rd and our Full moon in Aries conjoins Neptune three days later. This is a potent Full Moon that soon forms a pattern called a “Kite” with Sun, Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune. Kite patterns give us the ability to soar above and find a way forward. As our month ends Mars moves to Leo, Sun trines Uranus. Sunnier skies abound, even as Mercury moves to Scorpio, opposes Chiron and we are forced to see the sharp truth of ourselves and others.This is an excellent time for “digging in the dirt” and other activities that help us fertilize our minds, hearts, spirits, and bodies.
We can get much accomplished this month. Take heart and hold faith.
