“When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going”

Full Moons are always a time of buildup. As we witness with our senses the Moon enlarging in the night sky, we also feel and sense the energy. Of course, we have the empirical data to measure this, with oceanic and weather patterns rising, but it is also a mysterious and invisible sense of pressure too, as events and emotions come up to be addressed.

This is the first and only Full Moon in Capricorn of the year, and hence important to watch and use for help or clues for progress. In our last and only cardinal, initiatory earth sign, this is a Full Moon time of acting, of DOING the things you know you must, even if hard, or challenging.

Capricorn is the “authority” sign of the Zodiac. The one in charge, albeit often behind the scenes, and usually the one responsible. Ruled by Saturn, planet of consolidation, structure and matter-  where we have Capricorn in our charts we must make our own manifest destiny, via focus and overcoming obstacles over time. Saturn has currently ingressed to Aries, and conjoins Neptune. This pairing of the "hard work" planet with the "transcendent" one over the next year or so can potentially consolidate our "hopes and prayers" into something concrete.

Saturn/Neptune are also in positive aspect (relationship) to “freeing” Uranus and transformational Pluto. In addition, Mars in discriminatory Virgo is trine the lunation, offering a helpful hand to plans and deeds initiated now.

There is much potential here, to both take action and determine strategies (during upcoming multi month Retrograde of both planets) on important issues that may have been brewing for weeks, months or even years.

It may seem like a chore above our pay grade, or a sober reality we don’t want to face, yet we are each the one we have been waiting for. In this Full Moon time if we pick up the work in front of us and move forward TOGETHER, we can accomplish much.

Perhaps it is time to take action in your life. Make a short list of what to let go of, and what we you want to do, to act in the coming months.
