A Moon in Capricorn isn’t always the juiciest time, as the Moon is in its opposite sign of rulership- called its “detriment”. However, this Full Moon is special for a few important reasons. It’s not an eclipsed lunation or largely afflicted by aspects to tough planets, (2020!!) and it’s actually supported by a beautiful sextile with Jupiter at home in Pisces, reminding us of the enchantment that is ever present in our lives. It’s a time to keep the “faith” in our potential and in our progress.
The ruler or dispositor of the full Moon is hard working and sober Saturn, currently retrograde in its “day” sign of Aquarius. We may feel slightly overwhelmed now with tasks, or with the work it is taking to accomplish our personal goals and to “keep on keeping on”. Aquarius points to the idea that whatever work we are committed to, even personal self-improvement work can help the collective, as really, we are all in the same “boat” as beings on this Earth, at this time. You are not alone.
There are BIG themes of friction and breaking free of the past this year, thanks to Saturn in Aquarius clashing with Uranus and Taurus. Mars is close enough now to add to this feeling of frustration. Try to do what you can and focus on productive actions to achieve your desires.
