Full Moon in Libra 4/12/2025 5:22 pm pdt

“Lovely Libra,” my Libra Rising Mom would say about the Zodiac sign, whose element is Air, (concerned with thought and ideas) it’s mode Cardinal (or active) and planetary ruler, goddess of love, Venus. In Libra, Venus expresses itself in relatedness and refinement.

The Venus energy of Libra is outward focused, learning love for- and through others, balancing the me/we paradigm, making it fair.

Libra’s energy can be used for mediations, counseling, social justice, and artistic work.

There exists within Libra a delicate and innate ability to use harmony, beauty, and balance of form. I’ve heard Libras called a “polite Aries.” Though they are deeply concerned with peace and harmony and getting along, They HATE to see the brutality, ugliness, and unfairness of life. Libras can be quite fierce ideological fighters, debaters, and politicians- Just look at AOC and Kamala Harris!

With a Full Moon in Libra now, the themes of Libra beam into the collective “feeling.” With Sun/Chiron in Aries and Mars in Cancer, we have also, a T Square representing major friction. It’s like we want harmony in our inner and outer worlds, but in a time of massive new beginnings along with months of frustrating chaos, it’s hard to get. We might feel like acting up or out.

The good news is that our lunation’s ruler Venus goes direct now, after being retrograde since March 2nd! This Venus retrograde period helped us by giving us some personal clues regarding what we most value and need from ourselves and others. With Saturn close by, now this understanding can become even more concrete over the weeks ahead, enabling us to act towards all that matters to us.

Over the next 3 weeks or so create a plan of action based on what illuminations you may have had over the past months. It has been a roller coaster ride for sure, but we now have an opportunity to get real and get working on our challenges and solutions. A push for action is that all planets are now direct- through May 5th. Then Pluto will retrograde, taking us back into a deep collective examination of events that have transpired over the last year.

On this Full Moon, I share with you the words of one of the co-founders of the Magical Findhorn community Eileen Caddy, who received guidance from the 'still, small voice within' and shared it with her community for more than 40 years.

If you find yourself in a situation which is hard to accept and love, there is always something you can do about it if you want to; for as you go into the silence and seek within, Spirit will throw the light of truth on the situation and reveal to you why you are where you are, and why you are doing what you are doing.

You may be sure there is a very good reason for it and that there are vitally important lessons to be learnt. Until you change your attitude and learn to love where you are, who you are with and what you are doing, you may have to remain in a (stuck) situation. As soon as lessons have been learnt and you truly love- wholeheartedly for Spirit, then you will move on to something else. (This is how you) Watch Love open all doors for you.*

Could LOVE or at least harmonious understanding of a universe and our lives being full of intelligence and intent, take us out of separation and divisiveness and negativity?

Can we see that those who choose to have power OVER others are the ones who are suffering? It’s a high vibe ask for sure, but at least we can have love and compassion and a deeper acceptance of ourselves first. Everything starts from there, doesn’t it?
