Our yearly Full Moon in Libra is always a time for Libra’s themes- Objective understanding, harmony, relating to others, creating beauty and refinement, as well as the search for equal justice in our lives!

Our Sun in Aries focuses on our subjective selves, that ME that is so important, and its lunar opposition brings to light the WE that happens when we interact with others- which is almost always! Sun in Aries is close to minor planets Pallas Athene and Eris. These goddesses, of strategic battles and discord make us want to fight for perhaps an overmagnified issue or slight. Mercury is close to Uranus too- be wary of spouting off on others!

Lord Pluto though, makes a difficult square to each of our luminaries, reminding us that there is something we need to integrate or even an initiation point accessible before we come to conclusions. It’s often that Pluto’s experiences of difficulty, can create more compassion in our psyches and potentially broaden our views of ourselves and others. For example, there is nothing like a war to remind us that humans often create a “hell on earth” scenario for ourselves.

Saturn and Mars both trine this lunation, supportively providing both the energy and the potential strategy that allows us to make decisions that are in our best interests. It’s time to make realistic plans to sever any alliances that are not based on equality and respect. Full Moons can be excellent times for release!

Saturn is square our Nodes and we are moving into Eclipse season- a time where great changes can manifest. For the next two weeks or so do the work of release, then strategic planning and action that brings you into the themes of our North Node in Taurus- strong value systems, planting gardens (literal and metaphor) developing our resources and managing them wisely, sacred and mundane self-care of our bodies etc.

We have been collectively through a lot of stress and deprivation and so far, we are all still here- Pisces energy has been pushing us to expand, but this Full Moon asks us to do so wisely, together, with equality and justice for all.

This Full Moon try writing down your fears, your anxieties, (anything you want to want to release or banish) on dry Bay Leaves and then burning them ( safely) in a container, fire pit or fireplace.

The Bay oils released not only ease anxiety via a compound called linalool, but they also boost our immune system and have been used for thousands of years to cleanse negative energy and heal.

Sending blessings,

Michelle
