Full Moon in Sagittarius 6/11/2025 12:44 am PDT

Full Moons are times of  energetic ripeness, where the quality of “feeling” is felt and expressed more acutely- there is a sense of building, and release in the days  surrounding the event. The sign the Moon expresses itself in at the time, as well as the qualities of the planets that “rule” the Full Moon and make aspects to it, give more “color” to the how and whys of our personal and collective experiences.

This fiery moon in idealistic Sagittarius has several important aspects, it is square ( in hard relationship) to our “axis of destiny” lunar nodes in Pisces and Virgo. The Moon’s dispositor Jupiter, has also just moved to its exaltation in Cancer, and is square Saturn and Neptune both newly in the sign of Aries.

This moon is big, bold and a little over the top- it can over-do or “heat up” a situation especially those having to do with Jupiter's specialty; beliefs, virtues, philosophies and ideals. However it is also crossed by Saturn and Neptune, dampening  a “larger than life” expression.

With these aspects in play, we can expect collective exaggeration and embellishment as well as doubt and pessimism, a focus on the existential need for positivity and faith, especially in terms of the security and stability of home, homeland, family etc.

I want to note that the Birth Chart of the United States for July 4th, 1776, has not only Sun in Cancer, but Jupiter conjunct Venus and a Sagittarius ascendant. The land of “Mom, Baseball and Apple Pie” is very clearly reflected in the Country’s chart. In the midst of a Uranus and Jupiter Return and just completing our Pluto Return, the USA is facing a re-birth of values. This Full Moon may bring up a “crisis of consciousness” that ties into the need for continual development and reform (Nodal Axis) of our belief systems ( Jupiter) acknowledgment of the need for freedom from old paradigms (Uranus) that can alchemically  transform us collectively ( Pluto) into a new form of being.

A Moon in Sagittarius can be fun and optimistic,  as well as overbearing and insistent on its “righteousness” too. It is idealistic and filled with illusion ( sometimes delusion) as well faith in things without foundation. Try and get through this time with some discernment.

PSA -FACTS are ESSENTIAL. Use the critical mind now to flow with faith towards peace, while also creating a strategy for personal action to take in the coming weeks.

Much love,

Michelle
