Full Moon in Scorpio 5/12/25 9:55 am PDT

“Transformative Processes”

The full moon phase contains a curious contradiction at its center. On the one hand, it’s the completion of a cycle and the final step of the bright phase, while on the other hand it’s the polarity lunation with the sun and moon opposing each other. The first principle refers to the “whole package” kind of energy, manifested as self-assurance, responsibility, clear objectives, and solid outlook and values. The second principle refers to relationships obviously, with an emphasis on the ups and downs, the pulls, and pushes- A New Take on the 8 Lunar Phases- Dima Gur

Full Moons are always times of energetic expression, agitation, pressure, and ripening. In the lunation cycle, this is the apex of building up, implying release or culmination. Astrological Moon indicates instinctual behavior, collective and personal. Moon cycles can indicate timing of an emotional of psychological need or issue coming up or in to our “solar” awareness. So, a crisis can arise often in the growth process between New and Full Moons, often as experiences described by the Zodiacal styles of expression of the signs.

The quality or expression of our Full Moon in deep and transformative Scorpio can tell us more about some of the archetypes we may be experiencing now. As Scorpio is the Zodiacal repository of things deep, dark, and often dangerous, themes of what has been buried in life’s experience arise. Forces that can be both destructive and regenerative, such as anger, jealousy, sexual desires, or power struggles.

Taurus and Scorpio reside in the middle of their seasons, grounding and representing the polarities of growth and destruction/regeneration- both necessary for life’s transformative process. If you pay attention to things around right now, you may see these play out in events, feelings, dreams, signs, and “synchronicities” Now, Taurus’s need for stability will be in opposition to Scorpios desire for experiences that take us to the edge; of our abilities, talents or “get on our last nerve”.

Aspects to lunations give further clues-As Scorpio rules the process of death we may have experiences of endings; remember that these are necessary products of life’s cyles of regeneration. Don’t be afraid to break with anyone or thing necessary- as Uranus conjoins the Sun and opposes the Moon, it may come up suddenly.

Fortunately, Sun and Moon are positively supported by Saturn and our North Node in Pisces, both indicating there is deep wisdom in cultivating compassion for all.

Mars in Leo disposits the Moon in heart centered and courageous Leo, and trines Venus, while Juno conjoins Moon. Pluto, Scorpio’s modern ruler opposes Mars and squares Mercury, but could also be lending it’s power to the depth work necessary to “see the light” in dark times.

All good relationships take work, but the contacts of this lunation suggests good prospects for resolving any crisis or drama via partnering grounded in authenticity. We are ALL STRONGER WORKING TOGETHER than alone, we all have our special authentic powers and gifts too.

Scorpio’s key word of “I transform” is your magic mantra now.

YOU are the power center YOU make a difference. YOU can renew and regenerate your world.

Doncha forget it.

Xx
