New Moons are Astronomical, therefore Astrological cyclical events.

Tuesday the 17th, Moon in Pisces meets Mercury, Mars, and the North Node of the Moon.

There is a sense of deep insight available and even a sense of “destiny” at work in the dark of the Moon. The next day- Wednesday evening the 18th, Moon conjoins our Sun at 28 Pisces. This New Moon, close to Saturn and Neptune in early Aries emphasizes the threshold of the new world ahead.

On Friday, Mercury comes to a standstill and will change direction to direct motion. Spring also begins in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the eve of the Equinox, where the light of day is equal to that of night. This is the beginning of Aries and it starts a new Astrological year.

Moon and Venus are very close together now in Aries and in tension with Jupiter, in its exaltation in Cancer. Mars in late Pisces will trine Jupiter though, guiding us to take action to resolve relational or inner tensions. This week will likely bring many opportunities to stop and become aware and conscious of our individual creative power. Try and do what you can to flow through any frustrations.

This can be a time of great awakening both personally and collectively. Know, your worth and the worth of what you may be asked to “fight for.” Try to be as high minded as you can be, even in the wake of injustice. Do not allow yourself to get pulled down to negative or violent states.
