During a New Moon our Earth’s Moon is in line with the Sun, and the Sun and Earth are on opposite sides of the Moon. The Moon appears in its orbit, as invisible to the naked eye- as it’s either lost in the Sun's glare or lit up only from the dark side.
Astrologically, this time is the beginning of a new Lunar Cycle, representing an energetic re-set of our instinctive selves. Moon has always represented “the people” in Astrology amongst other things- it’s how we feel and respond individually and collectively.
This very special New Moon in Pisces conjoins with its traditional ruler Jupiter, strongly emphasizing the “Vibe” of the now.
The chart of our new Moon includes a lineup of Capricorn planets in late degree- Venus and Vesta at 26 degree and Mars/Pluto at 27, They stand in stark contrast to the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. Thought our New Moon does not aspect that chilly and restrictive Capricorn group, Neptune does- perhaps softening an authoritarian climb for power, as well as the coldness and hardships the world is and has been enduring.
Perhaps when compassion for suffering and injustice (Jupiter in Pisces!) rallies the world, we can come together in new ways to create structures that impede great wrongs- just days after our new Moon, Venus and Mars will conjoin again exactly- at 0 Aquarius, joining Mercury and Saturn in Aquarius, echoing the Great Mutation of 2020.
We all share this planet, and we all share this world. To live sustainably, we must learn to live inclusively, as interdependent life forms on the planet. We must be stewards of our lives personally and collectively, and these themes emerge from the darkness of our unconscious as wake up calls!
We can be grace in action. This time calls for it. Do what you can to make a better world for yourself and others – however small.
Take this dark moon time to sit in silence and send energy in the form of prayers for yourself and others in crisis. Write a list of what you want the Universe to bring to your world, petition the Gods, this energy is fertile, and much is possible.

March and April. Put your energy into taking compassionate action for exalted life and love - trust in the greater processes of life too, as you co-create the future!!
